Alyson originally stepped into the health care industry with a degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Washington Foster School of Business. When Alyson joined a premier sports rehab consortium in Seattle, the business consisted of 3 clinics (varying by brand and services offered). Alyson initiated and implemented strategic policy-driven change within the Company. Since her start there, she took on additional roles, from marketing strategy to business development, branding strategy, hiring/termination, developing and managing employee metrics and forging key partnerships, to name a few.
Later as the Company's Chief Operating Officer, she facilitated expansion into 4 new markets overseeing project management, build out, marketing, logistics, budgeting, timing, hiring, facility design, growth management
Before founding Radius, Alyson took on corporate clients through a national musculoskeletal provider group. Supporting employers such as Costco and Nordstrom, she implemented programs which systematically reduced companies' health care spend by 40% in the musculoskeletal category. Savings was realized through claims data analysis, and steerage of members toward less invasive, more effective care pathways. In addition to health care spend dollar savings, partnered companies measured positive changes in presenteeism and absenteeism.
Alyson sought to create a health care group that truly stood for patients first, not profits. In 2017, with a focus on clinical outcomes, patient experience and cost, Alyson founded Radius Physical + Sports Rehab in Grass Valley, CA.
Outside of healthcare, you'll find Alyson at yoga, CrossFit, enjoying the Yuba River or out running with her dog, Lyla. She's thrilled to be back in Nevada City after 10 years.
